Jr NTR calls fans his biggest blessing in thank-you note after Dragon glimpse
Actor Jr NTR thanked fans for the strong response to the Dragon glimpse and credited director Prashanth Neel for envisioning the film. The note came as the teaser gained momentum online ahead of his birthday and sharpened interest in the project.
Actor Jr NTR on Wednesday marked his birthday by thanking his fans for the overwhelming response to the glimpse of Dragon, saying their support had remained one of the biggest blessings in his journey. His note also came a day after the film’s first glimpse was unveiled and began drawing strong attention online.
In his post on X, the actor said the response to the Dragon glimpse had brought a big smile to the team and had also given them confidence and excitement to create an unforgettable experience for viewers. He also used the note to thank his well-wishers, colleagues, friends and the media for their warm wishes.

In the message, Jr NTR said his fans had stood by him with love through every phase over the years. “Watching the response for the #DragonGlimpse has not only brought a big smile to our faces but also given us a lot of confidence and excitement to create an unforgettable experience for you all (sic)," he continued.
The actor also gave special credit to director Prashanth Neel. "And all the credit goes to ONE MAN, my PRASHANTH NEEL, who dreamt of DRAGON (sic),” he added.
Jr NTR ended the note with a heartfelt thank you to his well-wishers, colleagues, friends, media and everyone who sent him warm wishes, signing off with “Much love. Always.”
Glimpse released before the birthday
The first glimpse of Dragon was unveiled on May 19 at 11:52 pm, just minutes before Jr NTR’s birthday on May 20. It quickly drew a strong response online. After the release, a photo of Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel sharing a tight hug became a talking point among fans.
Jr NTR also stepped out of his house to wave at fans who had gathered to wish him on his birthday. He also lost his cool at security guards who manhandled his fans.
About the film
Directed by Prashanth Neel, Dragon stars Jr NTR in the lead. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, while producer Bhushan Kumar is presenting the pan-India period drama. It is set for release in five languages and is slated for a grand release on June 11, 2027.
Set against a 1967 backdrop involving opium plantations and a global drug war, the four-minute glimpse builds towards the introduction of Luger, the Assassin-in-Chief of the Afghan Trading Company, played by Jr NTR.
