Prashanth Neel to gift 4 minute glimpse of Jr NTR's film ahead of his birthday
The makers of Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel's film will unveil its first glimpse late on May 19. Its reported 4-minute,35-second runtime and the possibility Dragon title has heightened fan curiosity.

N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Prashanth Neel’s much-awaited pan-Indian project, tentatively titled NTR-Neel, is once again making headlines ahead of the actor’s birthday celebrations on May 20. The makers officially announced that the film’s first glimpse will arrive at 11:52 PM IST on May 19 in selected theatres and on digital platforms.
The biggest talking point surrounding the update is the reported runtime of the glimpse. According to details that surfaced online through the CBFC certification listing, the video runs for 4 minutes and 35 seconds, making it unusually lengthy for a teaser or glimpse.
Usually, first glimpses are under a minute long, while trailers themselves rarely cross three minutes. The extended runtime has therefore generated strong curiosity among fans, who are expecting a full-fledged cinematic introduction to Prashanth Neel’s world rather than a conventional teaser.
The certification reportedly also carries the title Glimpse of Dragon, strongly hinting that Dragon could be the official title of the film. Interestingly, industry buzz claims that the teaser has been kept under strict secrecy, with even members of the cast and crew reportedly not shown the final cut to avoid leaks before release.
The film stars Jr NTR in the lead, with Rukmini Vasanth expected to play the female lead. Anil Kapoor is also said to have a key role in the project. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, the film is scheduled to release worldwide on June 11, 2027.
Meanwhile, Jr NTR, who has been occupied with multiple projects and continuous shooting schedules in recent years, is reportedly set to celebrate his birthday in Hyderabad this year after a long gap, making the occasion particularly special for fans and well-wishers. The actor is expected to spend the day with family and close friends in the city.
