While talking to Hindustan Times, the actor firmly denied the development, saying, “I have not even heard of this project. This is not true.”
Aamir Khan was said to be associated with the project as a producer, though there has been no official confirmation. The film was said to focus on Ashneer Grover’s journey and the controversies around him.
Ashneer Grover, co-founder of BharatPe, rose to widespread popularity after appearing as an investor on Shark Tank India. His blunt style and catchphrases—particularly the viral ‘doglapan’ remark—became cultural talking points, later inspiring his book, Doglapan: The Hard Truth about Life and Start-Ups.
Meanwhile, Imran is set to return to acting with the Netflix original film, Adhoore Hum Adhoore Tum. The project marks his comeback after a gap from mainstream acting.
