China-India railway: How China's railway through Aksai Chin to connect Tibet, Xinjiang affect India

The 3,440-km-long disputed border between India and China has seen multiple clashes in the past few years. Now the Cabinet has approved induction of close to 9,000 troops into the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, which is the first line of defense on the China border. China has taken a step further. It will soon begin work on its ambitious new railway that will run close to the LAC - and through the disputed region of Aksai Chin.
