Varavara Rao, Gautam Navlakha, Sudha Bharadwaj, Arun Ferreira and Vernon Gonsalves were arrested in mutiple locations across India on Tuesday by the Maharashtra Police. The arrests were made in connection with the department's investigation of suspected Maoist links to an event held in Pune.
