The counting of votes polled in the assembly elections in Mizoram began at 8 am on Monday with initial trends showing clear lead to the Opposition ZPM. The India Today Axis-My India exit poll also predicted a clean sweep by the ZPM in Mizoram and projected it to secure 28-35 seats in the 40-member state assembly. With thunderous victories by the BJP in the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, all eyes are on the expected CM candidates in the states. In Telangana, Congress's Revanth Reddy has staked a claim before the Governor to form a government.
