Amid massive footfall of tourists thronging hill stations, the Centre raised an alarm, warning that 'revenge travel’ can jeopardise the gains and create fresh Covid-19 cases. The health ministry warned that the virus is very much here and that such carelessness could prove costly.
"We are still dealing with the second wave of Covid-19. We need to continue the display of Covid-appropriate behaviour," Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said over reports of tourists flouting norms at Mussoorie's Kempty Falls.
