The top focus of this episode of Newstrack is on the growing chorus for a caste census. Eleven political parties from Bihar, led by chief minister Nitish Kumar today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to demand a caste census.

After the meeting, Nitish Kumar said, "People in Bihar and the entire country are of the same opinion on this issue. We are grateful to the PM for listening to us. Now, he has to take a decision on it."
