Free ride for women commuters in Delhi Metro; Mamata Banerjee recaptures TMC office, more

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is likely to announce free Delhi Metro and DTC rides for women at a press conference on Monday. Arvind Kejriwal's freebies for women commuters will cost approximately Rs 1,200 crore. The announcement of the schemes is likely to be made around 12:30 pm.

In other reports, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee broke open a BJP office in Naihati area of North 24 Parganas district and painted her party's name and symbol on the walls. TMC has claimed that it was their office which was captured by the BJP.
