Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Anant Kumar Hegde claimed that a 'deliberate attempt' on his life was made by a truck that hit his convoy on Tuesday night in Karnataka.
BJP MP Hegde was travelling in Haveri district when a truck tried to ram into the car in his convoy at around 11:30 on Tuesday night. The truck, however, missed his car and hit the vehicle escorting him. Before the truck driver could run away the locals caught him. The driver has been arrested.
