BJP vs TMC over post-poll violence in Bengal

After the battle for Bengal, now a massive political fight has erupted between BJP and TMC over post-poll violence in the state. The BJP, who alleged that 9 of its cadre were murdered in Sitalkuchi violence, is on the backfoot after an embarrassing blooper by the saffron party came to light today.

In a video on Wednesday, the BJP's Bengal unit had used a picture of indiatoday.tech's Abhro Banerjee, describing him as 'Manik Moitro', a party worker who allegedly died in post-poll violence in Sitalkuchi.

But, after Abhro pointed out that his image was used in place of 'Manik Moitro', the BJP said the error was due to a "hyperlink".
