Uno reverse on Rinku Singh: Mohsin Khan gets KKR star's bat after Lucknow heroics
After Kolkata Knight Riders' super over win over Lucknow Super Giants, Mohsin Khan asked Rinku Singh for one of his bats. Following some help from Rishabh Pant, the LSG pacer was able to find success.
Rinku Singh has made a reputation for himself as one of the best finishers in the IPL. But apart from that, the KKR star is also known to be someone who wants to get a bat from his favourite players and teammates before or after the game. He has already added Virat Kohli's bat to his collection. But after his heroics in the LSG game, Mohsin Khan pulled the uno reverse on him.
KKR released a video after the game where the players were seen talking to each other. Mohsin approached Rinku, saying that he wanted his bat. At first, Rinku was hesitant and then the pacer roped in Rishabh Pant to be the peacemaker and his advocate. The LSG skipper convinced the KKR star to heed to Mohsin's wish.
Rinku showed him his collection of bats and Mohsin was able to pick a new one and left the KKR dressing room. You can see the full video below:
It was a brilliant day for both Rinku and Mohsin as they performed well for their respective sides in Lucknow on Sunday. Mohsin wrecked the KKR top-order as he picked up five wickets for 23 runs in his four overs.
Kolkata were in all sorts of trouble when Rinku came in, and he played a sensational 83 runs to ensure that they posted a total of 155 runs. Rinku was sensational on the field and took four catches to keep Kolkata in the contest.
The match went into a super over, where Rinku once again showed nerves of steel as he dismissed Aiden Markram, with a little assist from Rovman Powell.
Rinku then hit the winning runs to get his side home in the end and secure their second win of the season.
