Jofra Archer takes dig at PBKS after RR reach Qualifier 2: Don't want Punjab's fate
Jofra Archer took a dig at Punjab Kings, saying that Rajasthan Royals don't want to get ahead of themselves and suffer the same fate as Shreyas Iyer and Co. PBKS crashed out of the play-offs race after a poor run of form in the second half of the campaign.
Jofra Archer took a dig at the Punjab Kings, saying that the Rajasthan Royals want to remain grounded despite reaching Qualifier 2 of the IPL playoffs. RR beat SRH by 47 runs to make it to the clash against Gujarat. RR were able to shake off a slump towards the end of the league stage, winning their final two matches to make it to the playoffs at the expense of Punjab. PBKS lost six out of their last seven games to miss out on making it to the playoffs.

Speaking to the broadcasters, Archer stopped from saying that the team is peaking at the moment and claimed that they're a side moving in the right direction.
"Very confident. Every game, every game at a time. I think we are peak, well, I don't want to say peaking, we're going in the right direction at the right time, you know, we don't want what happened to Kings 11 to happen to us, so I think we're on the right path, everyone chipping in every game, and that's the important part," said Archer.
'VAIBHAV CAN GO ON AND GET 150'
Archer had a good day in the office as he picked up the wickets of Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Travis Head in the powerplay to wreck the SRH chase of 244. However, he ended with figures of three for 58 in his four overs.
Archer thought that the bowling plans were good from RR.
"Apart from the figures, I thought our bowling pretty alright. I think all of the guys bowled alright. We stuck to our plans. We stuck to our lengths, and we were rewarded tonight," said Archer.
The star of the show of the night was Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, whose 29-ball 97 scripted the win. Archer said that he wants the 15-year-old to go and score a 150 as it will give RR bowlers more runs to defend.
"It was very exciting, the more runs he scores, the more runs we have to defend. So, you know, he can go on and get 150. So it's good for the bowlers when he gets a lot of runs," said Archer.
RR will now face Gujarat Titans in Mullanpur on Friday, May 29.
