Oppo is gearing up for a major launch in India on May 21, bringing two new additions to its Find X9 lineup — the Find X9 Ultra and the Find X9s. The Find X9 Ultra is particularly significant, as it will mark Oppo's first Ultra-branded flagship to officially land in India. Both devices have already debuted in the global market in April alongside the Find X9s Pro. Now, the two smartphones will join the existing Find X9 and Find X9 Pro that were launched last year. The upcoming Oppo’s flagships will be available via Amazon, Flipkart, and Oppo's online store.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra specs and features
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra features a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED LTPO display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
For photography, the Find X9 Ultra features a triple rear camera system comprising a 200-megapixel main camera, a 200-megapixel 3x telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel 10x optical zoom periscope telephoto camera with a 230mm equivalent focal length. The periscope system uses a Quintuple Prism structure that reflects light five times within a 29mm space. It supports Sensor Shift and Optical Image Stabilisation.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. To keep the lights on, it packs a 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery with expected 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Security is expected to be handled by a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, while dual stereo speakers are said to take care of audio. The device is also likely to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to both dust and water.
