Oppo Find X9 Ultra versus Find X9s: Specs, features, and prices compared
Oppo has launched the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Oppo Find X9s in India. Here's a detailed comparison of their design, display, performance, cameras, battery, and price.

Oppo today expands its Find X9 series in India, introducing the most powerful smartphone in the lineup — the Oppo Find X9 Ultra — and the semi-flagship, the Find X9s. The Ultra becomes the brand’s first smartphone to carry two 200-megapixel cameras. Where the Find X9s makes flagship features a little more accessible, the Find X9 Ultra makes no such compromises. This article takes a closer look at what both devices bring to the table in terms of design, specifications, and features.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra versus Find X9s: Design
Starting with the design, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra has a huge circular camera module that takes up a large portion of the rear panel. Oppo has also split the back into two sections with a vertical line, giving it a more professional camera-like appearance, almost similar to a compact digital camera. The Hasselblad branding further pushes that photography-centric identity.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X9s uses a rounded-square camera layout with three lenses arranged neatly in the corner. The design feels cleaner, slimmer, and more conventional compared to the Ultra model. It also appears more fashion-oriented. The flat sides and curved corners give it a modern iPhone-style look.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra versus Find X9s: Display
The Oppo Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra both feature AMOLED panels, but the two phones are aimed at quite different audiences, and their displays reflect that gap clearly.
The Find X9 Ultra takes the lead in size, sporting a larger 6.82-inch panel compared to the 6.59-inch screen on the Find X9s. For users who spend a lot of time consuming media or gaming, the Ultra's bigger canvas makes a noticeable difference.
Resolution is where the divide becomes more significant. The Find X9 Ultra steps up to a QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display, along with 10-bit colour depth and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. The Find X9s, meanwhile, offers an FHD+ AMOLED panel.
Both phones match each other on refresh rate, with each offering a 120Hz panel. However, the Ultra's LTPO technology gives it an edge in efficiency, as it can dynamically adjust the refresh rate based on the content on screen.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra versus Find X9s: Processor
Both phones run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, but under the hood, the two take noticeably different paths.
The Find X9s is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9500s. It comes paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
The Find X9 Ultra, however, goes a step further. It runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 — currently one of the most powerful mobile processors available — and pairs it with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
Both phones share the same fast storage standard, but the gap in raw processing power and maximum RAM makes the Find X9 Ultra the stronger performer of the two.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra versus Find X9s: Camera
Photography is where the gap between the two phones becomes the most pronounced, and notably where the Find X9 Ultra truly justifies its flagship positioning.
The Find X9 Ultra arrives with a quad rear camera setup that's hard to overlook. Leading the pack is a 200-megapixel primary sensor, joined by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, a 200-megapixel telephoto, and a 50-megapixel ultra-telephoto lens. Oppo has also thrown in a dedicated colour reproduction lens to ensure accurate, true-to-life colours — a level of hardware detail rarely seen even in flagship phones. On the front, a 50-megapixel selfie camera rounds things out.
The Find X9s, while no pushover, takes a more straightforward approach. It offers a triple rear camera system with three 50-megapixel sensors across the board, all tuned by Hasselblad. Selfies are handled by a 32-megapixel front camera.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra versus Find X9s: Battery
The Find X9s packs a 7,025mAh cell with 80W SuperVOOC wired charging, while the Find X9 Ultra goes slightly larger with a 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery. Charging speeds are a step up, too. The Ultra has 100W wired SuperVOOC and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging.
The difference in raw battery size is negligible, but the Ultra's faster wired charging, wireless charging support, and superior battery technology give it a meaningful edge overall.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra versus Find X9s: Prices
The Find X9s starts at Rs 79,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant, with the 512GB comes at Rs 89,999. While the Find X9 Ultra carries a significantly higher price tag of Rs 1,69,999.
Both phones go on sale on May 28, and bank card offers bring the prices down considerably. The Find X9s can be had for as low as Rs 62,199, while the Ultra drops to Rs 1,36,999 with the same offers applied.
