What truly caught the internet’s attention, however, wasn’t just the act of fixing the pothole, it was how he did it. In the clip, Hemadri used the car’s bonnet as a makeshift surface to mix cement, turning the luxury vehicle into an impromptu construction tool. He carefully prepares the mixture before applying it to the pothole, attempting to patch up the uneven road.

The video quickly gained traction online, with users reacting to both the ingenuity and the sheer contrast of the situation, a high-end sports car being used for something as gritty and practical as road repair. For many, it symbolised frustration with recurring pothole issues in the city, where residents often face damaged roads, especially during and after monsoon seasons.
