“Our rented apartment in Bengaluru,” she said at the start of the vlog.

Reflecting on the move, Koul explained that the biggest challenge was not shifting from an owned house to a rented apartment but downsizing their belongings to fit the new space.

“After living in Gurgaon for 13 years, we decided to pack our bags, leave our first home and move to Bangalore. The problem wasn't that we were moving from our own house to a rented apartment. The real challenge was fitting a 4BHK home, where every bedroom had a wardrobe, into a 3BHK apartment where only two bedrooms have wardrobes,” she said.

“That is why we gave away most of our belongings to our house help and watchman in Gurgaon. We were also sure that even though it would be a rented home, we would decorate it as if it were our own. Whether a house is owned or rented, I think it should bring peace and reflect your personality,” she added.

Koul said only the drawing room had been fully set up as several cartons were still unpacked in other rooms, but she was pleased with the result.

“Only our drawing room is ready right now because there are still cartons lying around in the other rooms. But I am really happy with how it has turned out. I hope you liked it too,” she said.

In the caption of her post, Koul expressed excitement about beginning a new chapter in Bengaluru.

“Namma Bengaluru, the next destination of our lives. Excited to see what the future holds, excited to try new cafes, excited for the awesome weather, excited to meet new people, excited to create new memories,” she wrote.
