Men in Thar create ruckus in Noida, one gets hit by bike, video leads to arrest

A group of men driving a Mahindra Thar created chaos on the streets of Noida, and their reckless behaviour, caught on camera, has now led to their arrest.

The incident, which took place in Gaur City 1 under the jurisdiction of Bisrakh Police Station, showed the men driving rashly, causing a disturbance on the road. As bystanders began recording the scene, the situation quickly escalated.

In the viral clip, the men were seen hurling abuse at the person filming. Moments later, two of them stepped out of the Thar to confront him. One of the men, who was shirtless, aggressively charged towards the person recording, visibly enraged.

What followed only added to the chaos.

As he ran forward, a passing bike collided with him, sending both the man and the rider crashing onto the road. Despite the fall, he quickly got back up and continued shouting abuses, refusing to back down even after the mishap.

The video, widely circulated on social media, also sparked allegations of physical assault and verbal abuse, with several calling out the group’s behaviour as outright hooliganism.

Responding to the incident, Noida Police confirmed that action had been taken: “In connection with the aforementioned case, Bisrakh police station has immediately taken two individuals into custody. The vehicle has been impounded. Further legal action is being taken,” the police said in a post.

The swift action came after the clip gained traction online, pointing out the dangers of reckless driving and aggressive behaviour on public roads.
