A woman shared how a moment of panic at Tirupati Airport turned into relief and gratitude, thanks to the swift response of CISF personnel who helped her recover her lost iPad within minutes.

Rimjhim, an Instagram user, posted a video talking about the incident, explaining how she had accidentally left her iPad behind at the airport. It wasn’t until she had already travelled nearly four kilometres away that she realised the device was missing, which led to immediate concern that it might be lost for good.

Acting quickly, she and her companions turned back and reported the missing device to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) stationed at the airport.

In the clip, she shared snippets from her trip while narrating the experience: “I accidentally forgot my iPad at the Tirupati airport, and we had driven 4 kilometres away by the time we realised it was missing. We then headed back to the airport and informed CISF about the missing device, and within 10 minutes, they were able to find it and return it to me.”

Clearly relieved, she added, “Thank you so much, CISF for your help. I’m so happy I was able to get my iPad back.”

In the caption of her post, she expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the personnel, emphasising how their prompt action and support turned what could have been a stressful situation into a positive experience.

The comments section had users appreciating the efficiency and responsiveness of the authorities. Several people said it was reassuring to see such quick assistance, especially in situations where people often assume lost belongings are gone for good.

Others pointed out that the incident reinforced the importance of approaching airport officials or security personnel immediately, instead of panicking or giving up hope.

A number of users also reflected on how such experiences helped build trust in public systems, pointing out that moments like these often went unnoticed but made a significant difference in people’s perception of safety and support. Some users also described the outcome as both surprising and heartening, adding that it was refreshing to see a positive story involving timely help and accountability.

Last week, a German traveller also praised CISF's prompt action to retrieve her bag at the Delhi airport, as she took to social media to explain the situation and thank the personnel who helped her.
