Sri Lanka serial blasts: 9th bomb defused near Colombo airport, death toll touches 290

A ninth blast was averted today near the Colombo airport in Sri Lanka. The bomb was successfully defused by the Sri Lankan police.
On Sunday morning, the eight serial blasts killed at least 290 people and injured over 500 across several towns and capital city in Colombo.
The curfew, imposed following the blasts, was lifted today morning around 6 am.
