Grappling with oxygen shortage, Lucknow hospital asks kin to shift Covid patients

With the healthcare infrastructure in Lucknow reeling under the ongoing surge in Covid-19 cases, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh is now stating at a shortage of oxygen cylinders.

The shortage of oxygen cylinders in hospitals across Lucknow has resulted in coronavirus patients having to wait for hours before they can be treated. The facilities at Mayo Medical Centre in Lucknow put up notices asking patients’ relatives to take them to other hospitals.
