Hospitals overburdened, no beds available amid Covid spike in Ahmedabad

Amid a spike in Covid-19 cases in Gujarat, the health system in Ahmedabad is beginning to crumble and hospitals are overburdened. Hospital beds are unavailable to all those who need them and people are getting treated in ambulances due to the lack of space.

In the last 24 hours, Ahmedabad reported 1,907 new Covid-19 cases, the highest in the state of Gujarat.
