Lotus has bloomed from Gangotri to Gangasagar: PM on BJP's big win in Bengal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who addressed Bharatiya Janata Party workers in Delhi on the party's superb performance in assembly elections, said that with a victory in West Bengal, 'lotus' has bloomed from Gangotri to Gangasagar. Hailing the party's victory in West Bengal, PM Modi stated, 'Bengal is free from fear from today,' and highlighted that for the first time, not a single innocent citizen lost their lives in electoral violence in the state. He assured the people of Bengal that the new government will stop migration, provide employment, and take strict action against infiltrators. PM Modi also celebrated the National Democratic Alliance's third consecutive victory in Assam and its renewed mandate in Puducherry. He acknowledged the by-election victories in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Nagaland, and Tripura, specifically mentioning Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar's win. Criticising the opposition, PM Modi remarked, 'Congress is becoming a gang of urban Naxals,' and accused the party of adopting ideologies rejected by the nation. He further noted that there is no longer any state in India with a Communist government, framing the election results as a vote for stability and a developed India.
