TVK to move its MLAs to resort as Tamil Nadu heads for hung assembly: Sources

As the Tamil Nadu assembly election results unfold, resort politics has officially begun in the state. According to sources, TVK is planning to move its 109 candidates to the Four Points Resort located on the Old Madras Road near Mahabalipuram. The move is aimed at keeping the party's flock together as they are currently short of the 118-seat majority mark. To bridge the nine-seat deficit, TVK is reportedly relying on the support of five MLAs from the Congress, two from the Left, and two from the AIUML or Muslim League. The candidates are expected to be shifted to the heavily protected resort away from the city centre by this evening, immediately after collecting their certificates from the returning officer. The strategy highlights the party's cautious approach to secure its numbers and prevent any potential poaching before the final government formation processes begin in Tamil Nadu.
