Vijay attacks Stalin over women's safety, calls DMK government 'evil forces'

Actor and TVK chief Vijay launched a scathing attack on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin during a rally in Perambur, calling the Stalin government 'evil forces' and questioning public safety under DMK rule. Vijay asked voters if they felt protected and happy in the last five years, alleging that the government prioritised nothing over basic safety. He stated, 'We can even live without food, water. But can you live without basic protection and safety?' Vijay filed his nomination from Perambur constituency and is expected to contest from Trichy as well, strategically targeting DMK strongholds in Chennai Central and the Delta belt. His election manifesto promises to make Tamil Nadu drug-free, corruption-free, and a safe haven for women and children. DMK chief MK Stalin also filed his nomination from Kolathur constituency on the same day. Other leaders including NTK chief Seeman and TVK leader Aadhavan Arjuna filed nominations as Tamil Nadu's election season officially began.
