Congress's KC Venugopal claims Rahul Gandhi is fighting for poor

Congress leader KC Venugopal cast his vote in Kerala's Alappuzha. The Congress leader exuded confidence that the party would sweep the Lok Sabha polls in Kerala. He said Rahul Gandhi is the one who is fighting for democracy and the poor of the country.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Venugopal said, "PM Modi is worried about the first phase of the election. The Prime Minister is panicking and that is the reason he is attacking our manifesto.

When asked about Rahul Gandhi's probability of winning from Wayanad, Venugopal said, "Rahul Gandhi will increase the vote margin in Wayanad. He is fighting for democracy. He is fighting for the constitution of the country. He is fighting for the poor of the country."
