Iltija Mufti, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate from Bijbehara in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly election, said she would have chosen teaching as a career if she were not a politician.
Speaking on Aaj Tak’s ‘Panchayat,’ Mufti shared that she was dyslexic as a child but overcame the challenge to pursue higher education at Melbourne University.
“I was writing my mother’s (Mehbooba Mufti) biography. By temperament, I am a writer, a reader, and I love teaching. When I was a child, I was dyslexic and would teach plants. I would have been a teacher if not a politician,” she said.
