At the India Today Conclave South 2025, Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh reaffirmed the Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) unwavering commitment to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Stressing the party’s long-term alliance strategy, Lokesh declared, “Beyond 2029, TDP will remain firmly with the NDA, providing unconditional support.”
He asserted the party’s faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership while dismissing speculation around the Vice-Presidential elections, reiterating TDP’s decision to back NDA nominee CP Radhakrishnan.
Lokesh emphasised that his party prioritises “Bharat first,” positioning the TDP as a loyal partner in national politics while staying focused on Andhra Pradesh’s development.
