'Rahul Gandhi has hurt sentiments of Maha': Shiv Sena seeks Congress leader's apology for comments on Savarkar

The Shiv Sena has slammed Rahul Gandhi for his 'V D Savarkar took stipend from British' remark and has sought the Congress leader's apology for hurting the sentiments of the people in Maharashtra. Manisha Kayande, an MLC from the Udhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena camp, said when he is undertaking a Bharat Jodo Yatra, there was no need to bring in V D Savarkar into the picture. The Shiv Sena's response comes after the BJP questioned as to whether Uddhav Thackeray would take a stand against Rahul Gandhi's irresponsible statements or not.
