Video: Thalapathy Vijay holds his party's first political rally in Tamil Nadu

Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay's party the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) held its first state-level conference at Vikravandi in Tamil Nadu's Villupuram on Sunday. In videos from the rally, several people can be seen throwing scarves bearing the party's colours when the actor entered the event. Vijay can be seen thanking the people and wearing the scarves around his neck.

Vijay launched his political party in February this year and will contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
