AI pivotal for humanity and global growth: Brazilian President Lula to India Today

Speaking at the India AI Impact Summit, he stated, 'AI should not become a privilege for a few nor a tool of manipulation,' highlighting its potential to improve healthcare and education while warning against replacing human labour. President Lula also discussed the strategic importance of BRICS as a voice for the Global South, advocating for a multipolar world to prevent a second Cold War between major powers. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership in fostering global debates on technology and trade.
