Anupam Kher, Baichung Bhutia and Sonu Nigam are among invitees who have reached Ayodhya ahead of the Ram Mandir rituals tomorrow. They share their joy and experience of witnessing the historical event with India Today's Rahul Kanwal.
While actor Anupam Kher shared that he had been eagerly waiting for "this day" to arrive, Sonu Nigam, the legendary singer, said that it only struck him at the Ayodhya airport that he was attending the most auspicious event.
Ayodhya is set to welcome thousands of guests and host limited invitees for the historical religious event on a cold winter afternoon. With limited invitees, rituals at Ram Mandir will be held in the presence of seers from across the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, among other leaders, celebrities and noted personalities. Invitees also include families of the labourers who erected the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
