Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said that he was not happy with the NRC list and added that many people manipulated the NRC data to get their names included.
He further said that NRC was a mixed bag as many Bangladeshi Hindu migrants who came to India prior to 1971 could not figure in NRC list because authorities didn't accept their certificates as one of the evidences.
