Before-After: Delhi's AQI drops as rain clears skies and smog

Delhi received a much-needed respite in the form of rain. The overnight rains brought a significant improvement in the city's air quality, reducing the AQI to a less harmful level.

The air quality index (AQI) had reached an alarming level, with PM2.5 nearly 100 times the safe limit.

This toxic haze was causing severe respiratory ailments among the city's residents, affecting people of all ages. 

The city breathed a sigh of relief as the toxic haze cleared up.
