Bengal showdown: War of words between Mamata Banerjee and Suvendu Adhikari

A war of words broke out between West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari ahead of the state Assembly polls.

Mamata Banerjee announced on Monday she would contest the upcoming West Bengal Assembly election from former aide Suvendu Adhikari's turf, Nandigram. To this, Suvendu Adhikari accepted the challenge thrown by Mamata Banerjee to contest from his Nandigram assembly seat, asserting he will defeat her in the election or quit politics.
