Bengal: Violence in East Midnapore after Amit Shah's rally, buses attacked

Tensions prevail in Kanti area of East Midnapore district of West Bengal after BJP president Amit Shah addressed a rally today. BJP workers allege that ruling Trinamool party's supporters first pelted stones on their buses. Meanwhile, Rapid Action Force (RAF) had to be called in to control the situation.

Amit Shah's rally was reportedly attended by thousands of BJP workers. The TMC had planned a bike rally in the area soon after.
