With festive season around the corner, artisans in Kolkata face severe losses

With festivals like Mahalaya, Durga Puja and Diwali around, artisans are staring at severe losses after a fall in selling price and overall sale in wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Some artisans have gone back home even as there's lack of work during the pandemic crisis. There's a decline in their income and these festivals are their last hope. Artisans depend on this Durga Puja season for their entire income, but this Covid pandemic meant that their budget has been curtailed to a great extent. Watch report.
