Hathras case: CBI finds one accused a minor, points at lapses in UP Police probe | Exclusive

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which has taken over probe into the Hathras alleged rape case, has found out that one of the four accused is a minor according to his school marksheet. Making the claims, CBI pointed at the lapses in the investigation conducted by UP Police.

On September 14, a 19-year-old Dalit girl was gang-raped and beaten up by the four accused while she was working on the fields with her family. She was then left to die with severe injuries on her backbone and tongue.
