A MiG-21 trainer jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near the Gwalior airbase on Wednesday. According to sources, both the pilots managed to eject safely. Both the pilots, including a Group Captain and a squadron leader, managed to eject safely, news agency ANI reported on Wednesday. The aircraft was on a routine mission, and crashed around 10 am, sources in the IAF said. The IAF has ordered a court of inquiry to ascertain the cause of the accident, they said.
