Kerala govt declares coronavirus as state calamity after 3 confirmed cases

With three confirmed cases of novel Coronavirus cases in the state, the Kerala government declared it a state calamity said Monday night. State Health Minister KK Shailaja said the government will take all the necessary steps to ensure that the coronavirus outbreak is effectively controlled.
All the three cases which have tested positive were medical students - one girl and two boys - who were studying in China's Wuhan. The condition of all the three is stable and there are being closely observed in isolation at state run hospitals.
