Lakhimpur violence: What will be the political fallout in UP? 

The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday allowed Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to visit the violence-hit Lakhimpur Kheri district after initially saying no, and also released Vadra from three days of preventive detention.

Meanwhile, there has been no arrest in the case so far. So, the questions we are raising are: Should Union minister Ajay Misra step down? What will be the political fallout in the UP? Will politics derail the investigation?
