Death toll in Odisha train crash being downplayed, 61 dead just in Bengal: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee attacked the Centre and the Railway ministry and said the death toll in the Odisha train crash is being downplayed. She said the number of deaths is increasing on the list she has and 61 people from just West Bengal died in the horrific accident. She added that 182 people from Bengal are missing and questioned what is the "real" death toll in the accident.

This comes a day after her argument with Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw over the death toll in the accident was caught on camera. 

The Bengal CM also alleged that several injured passengers of the trains were not treated properly in Odisha as the medical facilities were not well equipped.
