PM Modi addresses rally in J&K

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the rally gathered at Palli, Sambha on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day. Modi is on his first official visit to Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.

In his speech, PM Modi said Palli will be India's first carbon-neutral panchayat. He also said democracy has reached grassroots level in J&K where the people were deprived of the 3-tier Panchayati Raj system for a long time. He added that his government has implemented all central laws in J&K to empower the people.
