The power tussle between the AAP govt and the Centre has revived after MoS G Krishan Reddy today introduced the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2021 in the Lok Sabha. The bill aims at further defining the power of the Lieutenant Governor in the national capital as stated in the existing bill.
Delhi CM Kejriwal lashed out at the Centre alleging that they are trying to curtail the elected govt's power.
While slamming the Centre, Manish Sisodia said that the bill is unconstitutional and would give more power to the LG than the elected government.
