Annamalai urges CBSE to roll back three-language policy for Class 9 students

The protests against the proposed seaport project in Kerala's Vizhinjam by the Adani Group escalated on Sunday after the protesters stormed the Vizhinjam Police Station in Thiruvananthapuram. Several police personnel were injured after a scuffle broke out between the two sides.
All the injured police personnel were stuck inside the police station after the protesters closed all entry points to the station. Further, two media persons who were at the site to record the incident were also attacked.
The situation remains tense in the area and more police forces are being sent to Vizhinjam. Police officials are currently holding a discussion with the protesters.
