Rajya Sabha likely to debate on Population Control Bill during Monsoon Session 

As chorus grows for population control law after UP govt unveiled its population policy, the Rajya Sabha is likely to debate the population control bill on August 6 during the Monsoon Session.

The UP State Law Commission has released the first draft of the proposed population control bill. Law Commission Chairman Justice AN Mittal said the bill proposes to bar the violators of the two-child policy from contesting local body elections or applying for government jobs.
