Union minister Sanjeev Balyan's controversial formula to treat protesting students in JNU, Jamia

Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan believes that a 10 per cent reservation for candidates from West UP in Jamia Millia Islamia and Jawaharlal Nehru University can be an effective way to "deal" with protesting students. Union Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Sanjeev Balyan urged Rajnath Singh at a rally in Meerut to make provisions for reservation for West UP students in the two Delhi universities to "treat those raising anti-national slogans".
