Valmiki community in Bengaluru protests demanding 7.5% reservation

Members of Valmiki community in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Tuesday staged a protest demanding 7.5% reservation for the community.

The protest was spearheaded by Prassannananda Puri Swami of Valmiki Gurupeetha, as per local reports.

The protest resulted in traffic congestion in several parts of the city.
