Addressing the Chair in the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, saying that considering his age, he could raise slogans even while sitting so that he does not face any discomfort.
PM Modi said, “Honourable President presented her address before all of us in a very effective manner, with complete sensitivity... Chairman ji, I have a humble request. Considering the age of (Mallikarjun) Kharge ji, it would be better if he raises slogans while seated, so that he does not face any discomfort. There are many young members present, please allow Kharge ji the convenience of raising slogans even while sitting.”
