Vivek Agnihotri shared his appreciation for Dhurandhar: The Revenge in a post on X. He revealed that he travelled from the countryside of California to Los Angeles specifically to watch the movie.

The Kashmir Files directed praised the film and its team, describing the work as brilliant and expressing that further words might only add unnecessary noise to what already speaks for itself. Agnihotri mentioned his intention to call the filmmaker directly.

Agnihotri acknowledged the exceptional efforts of the entire team but highlighted two crafts that significantly enhanced the film: Vikash Nowlakha’s cinematography and Saini Johray’s production design. "I want to specifically acknowledge two less celebrated crafts that elevate this film into something far greater: 1. Vikash Nowlakha’s world-class cinematography, and 2. @sainisjohray’s exceptional production design. In cinema, the camera and production design are married to each other. Unless both are in complete harmony, a film cannot rise to the level of a masterpiece," he wrote.

He emphasised the importance of harmony between the camerawork and production design in cinema, stating that without this synergy, a film cannot reach the status of a masterpiece.

In Dhurandhar, Agnihotri observed a pure synergy between these elements, crediting Vikash and Saini Johray for their groundbreaking contributions that he believes will set a benchmark for the future.

He extended his heartfelt best wishes and a special salute to both artists.

He also offered a word of advice to Dhar, noting, “You are sharp, and you know your path. Just stay mindful of the ecosystem, it can be as vicious as it is seductive.”

Agnihotri concluded his post by congratulating the entire team, writing, “And everyone else in Team Dhurandhar, you rock.”

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has been drawing attention for both its performances and technical craft, even as it continues a strong run at the box office.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 was released in theatres on 19 March and stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role.
